First Viewing Checklists
Use these checklists to help you decide what property to buy, or just as a helpful reminder about your thoughts at the time you viewed a property.
When you view a property for the first time, be sure to ask questions to the existing owners, as well as looking at the property itself. Here are a few questions that you could ask:
- Has the house been on the market for long?
- Why are you moving house? Just getting a bigger house or are there nasty neighbors?
- How do you find the local area? They may know something that you might not.
The first viewing checklist is available to download as a Word document in two formats: A4 and A5.
Download the A4 First Viewing Checklist (36Kb) - for people who write lots.
Download the A5 First Viewing Checklist (47Kb) - for people who like to save paper and not write so much.
